The 2009 Gallardo is a 2-door, 2-passenger luxury sports car, or convertible sports car. The Gallardo is available in two trims, the LP560-4 Coupe and the LP560-4 Spyder.

The Gallardo is Lamborghini’s most-produced model to date, with over 5000 built in its first three years of production. Each Gallardo costs about $180,000 to $210,000.

The Lamborghini Gallardo offers two choices of transmissions, a conventional (H-Box) six-speed manual transmission, and an advanced six-speed electro-hydraulically controlled ’semi-automatic, which Lamborghini abbreviates to “E-gear”.

The Lamborghini Gallardo delivers 560 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 398 ft-lbs of torque at 6,500 rpm via a 5.2-liter V10 engine. The Gallardo is capable of hitting 62 mph in an amazing 3.7 seconds.

Optional light-weight carbon ceramic brakes offer superior durability and reduce brake fade, where the brakes become less effective due to overheating in extremely demanding conditions such as racing. An available clear glass engine cover allows the owner to display the engine.
